From July 29 to 31, 2024, Arusha, Tanzania will host the 9th International Conference on Sustainable Transportation & Smart Innovations (ICTA 2024). This event, which also celebrates the 10th anniversary of ICTA, will take place at the Gran Melia Hotels & Resorts under the theme “Safe, Smart and Sustainable Transport Systems for Global Economic Growth”.
Organized by the Global Transportation Professional Networking Group in collaboration with several national and international organizations, including the Tanzania Roads Association (TARA) and the International Road Federation (IRF), this conference aims to build capacity for transport sector stakeholders. The official opening will be presided over by the Minister of Works of Tanzania, Hon. Innocent Bashungwa.
ICTA 2024 will bring together approximately 300 participants, including senior officials, CEOs of road agencies, academics, researchers, consultants, and contractors from the transport sector. The conference will provide a platform for exchanging ideas, sharing experiences, and best practices on safe, smart, and sustainable transport systems.
