Antananarivo International Airport has just received, for the second consecutive year, the “Best Airport with Less Than 2 Million Passengers in Africa” award from Airports Council International (ACI) World. It receives this recognition for the year 2024 alongside two South African airports, Bram Fischer International Airport in Bloemfontein and George Airport in George.
The annual ASQ awards are presented by ACI World in partnership with Amadeus, one of the world’s leading technology companies providing software solutions for the global travel and tourism industry. They recognize airport excellence in customer experience worldwide. The awards are based on data from the ASQ departure and arrival surveys.
In its announcement of the Award, Ravinala Airports, the consortium managing Ivato Airport, did not fail to “thank the passengers for taking the time to respond to the surveys.” “This award is thanks to you,” it says, acknowledging that passengers have “noticed the continuous improvements progressively made at the airport, leading to this award.”
The company, along with the entire airport community, states that it is “committed to constantly improving the service quality at Antananarivo International Airport.” “Receiving this recognition for two consecutive years is an encouragement to double our efforts in the pursuit of passenger satisfaction and the enhancement of the image of Madagascar’s main gateway in Africa and the world,” it concludes.
