DP World Limited handled 77.9 million TEU (twenty-foot equivalent units) across its global portfolio of container terminals in full year 2021, with gross container volumes increasing by 9.4% year-on-year on a reported basis and up 8.9% on a like-for-like basis[1]. The International Air Transport Association (IATA) announced full-year global passenger traffic results for 2021 showing that demand (revenue passenger kilometers or RPKs) fell by 58.4% compared to the full year of 2019.
