Vehicle registration in Côte d’Ivoire will be the focus of the next edition of the “Tout savoir sur” (TSS) [Everything You Need to Know About] series on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, in Abidjan-Plateau. During the event, Oumar Sacko, Director General of Land Transport and Traffic (DGTTC), will provide insights into registration procedures and key developments in the system.

Scheduled for 3:00 PM at the Integrated Urban Land Management System (SIGFU) facility, the press conference will be broadcast live on the Ivorian Government’s digital platforms, including Facebook, X, and YouTube. The public and transport sector stakeholders are invited to follow the discussion and ask questions in real time.

Organized by the Government Information and Communication Center (CICG), this event will review the various stages of the registration process, the required documents, the conditions to be met, and the regulations applicable to different vehicle categories.

The discussion will also cover procedures for registering imported vehicles and address specific situations that users may encounter.

Furthermore, the Director General of Land Transport and Traffic will present an overview of the current state of vehicle registration in Côte d’Ivoire and provide an update on government measures aimed at improving service quality, securing procedures, and combating fraud related to registration documents and license plates. Through this new edition of “Tout savoir sur” (All About…), the CICG continues its mission to inform the public about topics of general interest by fostering direct dialogue between public institution officials, the media, and citizens. This initiative reflects the Government’s commitment to enhancing the transparency of public action and making it easier for the public to access reliable information regarding public policies and the services intended for them.
