inDrive Launches in Abidjan: A New Ridesharing Service with Fair Negotiation and Zero Commission

The global mobility platform inDrive is launching a revolutionary ridesharing service in Abidjan, allowing passengers and drivers to enjoy a more equitable and personalized transportation experience. Unlike traditional rideshare platforms, inDrive enables users to directly negotiate fares while maintaining a zero-commission policy for drivers during the first six months.

With inDrive’s pricing model, passengers can propose a fare for their trip, which nearby drivers receive. Drivers then have the freedom to accept the fare, make a counteroffer, or decline the ride without penalty. This unique system considers factors like vehicle type, estimated arrival time, and driver ratings, allowing both parties to prioritize trips that suit them best.

 

Zero Commission: A Financial Opportunity for Drivers

To encourage adoption, inDrive offers a zero-commission policy for the first six months in Abidjan, allowing drivers to keep 100% of their earnings, directly boosting their income. After this period, a low commission will be applied, providing drivers with higher earnings compared to other similar platforms.
