Tunisia at the Heart of Investment and Trade in Africa with FITA 2025

The Tunisian capital is set to beat with the rhythm of Africa’s economy as it hosts the 8th edition of the International Forum for Financing Investment and Trade in Africa (FITA 2025). This major event, organized by the Tunisia-Africa Business Council (TABC), will bring together approximately 70 personalities—including 12 high-ranking officials from African countries—over 100 exhibitors, 100 international financing institutions, as well as numerous business leaders and government officials from various continents.

A Major International Gathering

Anis Jaziri, President of TABC, emphasizes the importance of this edition, which coincides with the 10th anniversary of the Council. “This edition will be exceptional, marked by the presence of eminent international and Pan-African figures and supported by a rich and varied program.” The event presents itself as a prime platform to boost investment on the African continent, which Mr. Jaziri describes as a “fertile” land brimming with opportunities and potential for significant growth rates. “Africa represents the future of the global economy,” he stated.

Strategic Themes for Africa’s Transformation

FITA 2025 will host crucial discussions on several development axes. Debates will focus on the industrial, digital, energy, infrastructure, and logistics transformation of the continent. These discussions aim to create synergies between African and international economic players, fostering innovation and investment in key sectors.

An Opportunity to Strengthen Partnerships and Develop Tunisian Tourism

Beyond the economic aspects, this event is a strategic opportunity for Tunisia to enhance its investment appeal and promote its tourism destination across Africa. Anis Jaziri highlighted the possibility for both public and private Tunisian institutions to secure agreements and develop partnerships, particularly in the tourism and traditional industries sectors.

Tunisian Minister of Tourism, Sofien Tekaya, who recently met with Anis Jaziri, expressed his enthusiasm about the scope of this continental and international event. He emphasized that the forum would be a valuable opportunity to strengthen ties with the African continent and promote Tunisia as a destination of choice, especially for medical tourism, wellness tourism, and business tourism. The Minister also recalled that Tunisia’s accession to the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) and the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA) demonstrates its commitment to harnessing the transformative potential of the African market.

FITA 2025 promises to be an unmissable event for decision-makers, investors, and international trade players. By highlighting Africa’s economic transformation prospects, the forum is set to energize exchanges and consolidate partnerships between Tunisia and all African countries. An event to watch closely for all those who see Africa not only as a booming market but also as the future of the global economy.
