Buildings & Logistic Services (BLS) has significantly bolstered its presence in the Moroccan logistics market by acquiring the Logiprod platform. This strategic move marks a new chapter in BLS’s growth trajectory, solidifying its position as a leading player in the country’s logistics sector.

Spanning a vast 110,000 square meters, including 22,000 square meters of covered space, the Logiprod facility in Lakhyayta is a valuable addition to BLS’s extensive network. This acquisition not only expands BLS’s geographic reach but also enhances its capacity to provide comprehensive logistics solutions to a growing clientele.

A Strategic Fit

The integration of Logiprod into the BLS family is a strategic move that aligns seamlessly with the company’s ambitious growth plans. With a proven track record of serving high-profile clients like Pharma 5, Dislog Group, and Transmed, Logiprod brings a wealth of experience and a strong customer base to BLS.

By expanding its portfolio of assets, BLS is well-positioned to capitalize on the increasing demand for efficient and tailored logistics solutions. The company’s ability to adapt to the evolving needs of businesses will be further enhanced through this acquisition.

Driving Market Transformation

The partnership between BLS and RREEF Moroccan Explorer Fund I underscores the attractiveness of the Moroccan logistics market and the confidence investors have in BLS’s growth prospects. This acquisition is more than just a geographical expansion; it represents a strategic move to shape the future of the logistics industry in Morocco.

Anass Moutaoukil, the newly appointed CEO of BLS Lkhayta Hub, emphasized the company’s commitment to becoming an indispensable player in the Moroccan logistics landscape. By strengthening its regional network and offering customized solutions, BLS aims to set new industry benchmarks.

A Catalyst for Growth

The acquisition of Logiprod is the latest milestone in BLS’s ongoing investment in modern infrastructure and technological advancements. The company’s recent inauguration of the BLS Casa Hub, a state-of-the-art logistics center, further highlights its dedication to driving efficiency and sustainability in the logistics sector.

Moreover, BLS’s partnership with the International Finance Corporation (IFC) has provided a significant boost to its growth initiatives. With increased funding, BLS is poised to create hundreds of new jobs and accelerate its expansion plans.

A Bright Future

The entrance of impact investor STOA into BLS’s shareholder base reflects the company’s commitment to sustainable development and innovation. As BLS continues to expand its footprint and enhance its service offerings, it is well-positioned to capitalize on the growing opportunities in the Moroccan logistics market.
