Launch of Air One: Soget Digitizes Air Cargo Logistics

Soget, a French software publisher well known for its port management solutions, is diversifying into air transport. The company recently unveiled “Air One”, a Port Community System (PCS) designed to streamline exchanges and processes among the various players in the air cargo industry. Already operational in several countries, this digital platform aims to enhance airport competitiveness.

Drawing on more than forty years of experience in port community management, Soget has developed a tool that centralizes operations and information. It connects airlines, freight forwarders, logistics providers, ground handlers, customs authorities, and airport operators on a single platform.

Key Features and Benefits

Air One offers several core features:

  • Real-time tracking of goods and documents.
  • Paperless formalities.
  • Automated transmission of information to customs services.

The objective is to optimize the air logistics chain, shorten delivery times, and streamline processes.

The platform was designed to comply with International Air Transport Association (IATA) standards and customs regulations, including ICS2, ANTES, and SDS. It also ensures compatibility with other national and international systems.

Already adopted in Guadeloupe, Jamaica, and the Democratic Republic of Congo, Air One has proven effective in diverse environments, delivering immediate benefits to all stakeholders in the cargo chain.

For Soget, this new product demonstrates its ability to support the digital transition of air hubs. By making procedures smoother and more harmonized, Air One seeks to improve airport efficiency to the benefit of both operators and authorities.

This innovation is particularly significant for the African aviation sector, as the Democratic Republic of Congo is among the first countries on the continent to adopt this technology.
