Ethiopian Airlines Cargo recognized as a key player in the logistics corridor linking China, Belgium, and Europe

Ethiopian Airlines Cargo has distinguished itself as a key logistics player in the development of the China–Belgium–Europe logistics corridor, highlighting its increasingly decisive role in interconnecting global markets across Asia, Europe, and Africa.

This recognition was awarded during an official ceremony held in Guangzhou, China, organized by the Belgian government in partnership with the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing.

The airline’s cargo division was praised for its major contribution to establishing efficient, reliable, and continuous freight connectivity along one of the world’s most strategic trade corridors.

Over the past twelve months, Ethiopian Airlines Cargo operated more than 2,256 dedicated cargo flights, enabling the transport of over 140 million kilograms of goods on the China–Belgium–China route.

These operations have made a significant contribution to supporting international trade, strengthening global supply chains, and meeting urgent logistics needs.

This distinction underscores the strategic value of Ethiopian Airlines Cargo in connecting major global economic hubs, supported by a modern cargo fleet, an ever-expanding network, and strong partnerships with international logistics stakeholders.

It thus confirms Ethiopian Airlines Cargo’s position among the world’s leading air freight operators and its essential role in intercontinental trade and international economic cooperation.
