2nd Edition of the International Logistics Conference (ILC 25): Rethinking the Supply Chain: Sustainability and Operational Efficiency

The National School of Commerce and Management of Oujda is organizing, on December 10 and 11, 2025, the 2nd edition of the International Logistics Congress (CIL-25). Held under the theme: “Rethinking the Supply Chain: Sustainability and Operational Efficiency,” the event aims to bring together experts, researchers, professionals, and decision-makers to discuss the major challenges that are profoundly transforming supply chains.

A global context marked by uncertainty

In an uncertain world, logistics is undergoing profound changes due to systemic disruptions (geopolitical conflicts, shocks such as COVID-19, the Suez Canal blockage, the war in Ukraine) and increasing environmental pressures. These shocks have exposed the vulnerabilities of global supply chains. Organizations are reassessing their frameworks to adopt less risky, more flexible, and more geographically concentrated approaches (partial relocation, diversification of sourcing).

The rise of smart logistics

Digital technologies (blockchain, IoT, digital twins, AI) are transforming operations by enabling real-time tracking and automation, thereby creating “smart” supply chains. At the same time, environmental challenges require minimizing CO₂ emissions, using renewable energy, and adopting circular logistics.

Morocco, a strategic actor in transformation

In Morocco, the sector is evolving thanks to the 2030 national strategy, with the development of platforms such as Tanger Med and Nador West Med, which aim to position the Kingdom as a Euro-African logistics hub.

The congress provides a space for dialogue to showcase best practices and effective strategies that promote sustainability and operational efficiency.
