Logintek: Morocco Inaugurates its First 100% Private Integrated Logistics Zone, a Model for North Africa

The Moroccan logistics and industrial landscape has just reached a major milestone. The Logintek zone, located in Sidi Aidi in the Casablanca-Settat region, has been officially launched. Fully developed with private capital and championed by Zinafrik Développement, this 123-hectare platform is positioning itself as an integrated ecosystem unprecedented in Morocco and North Africa.

The inauguration of Logintek marks a turning point. The result of a 2.3 billion dirham investment for its first phase, this project deploys a diversified land offering across nearly 100 hectares immediately available for commercialization. It aims to establish itself as the new benchmark for operational efficiency and quality of work life.

Optimal Connectivity Serving International Trade

One of Logintek’s key assets is its strategic location. Situated at the intersection of the Kingdom’s main logistical arteries, the zone is connected to:

  • The A7 Motorway and the National Road 9.

  • A rail line running along its perimeter.

  • Mohammed V Airport, just 30 km away.

  • The Port of Casablanca, located 50 km away.

This multi-modal accessibility is designed to ensure optimized transit times, enhancing the competitiveness of the businesses established there on both the national and international markets.

More Than an Industrial Zone: An Ecosystem of Services

Logintek stands out by integrating high-value-added infrastructure and services, going far beyond the traditional industrial park concept:

  • Advanced Logistics: 60,000 sq. m of latest-generation logistics spaces are planned across 15 hectares, meeting global standards for storage and distribution.

  • Inland Dry Port (Customs Clearance): A 5-hectare dry port is integrated, allowing operators to complete their customs formalities on-site. This system significantly reduces import-export delays and costs.

  • Administrative Facilitation: A single window brings together all administrative procedures, including customs, banks, insurance, and freight forwarders, allowing investors to focus on their core business.

  • Innovation: The zone includes a technopole for innovation, advanced digital infrastructure, and the planned installation of a Data Center with a fiber optic network.

The site also offers a dedicated TIR area for international road transporters.

International Attractiveness and Future-Focused Industries

Upon launch, the zone boasts a commercialization rate close to 50%, demonstrating significant investor interest. Eight nationalities are already represented (Morocco, Spain, South Korea, Austria, France, Switzerland, Russia, Egypt).

Logintek attracts high-value and innovative projects, such as the establishment of the South Korean group Seoil (packaging), 95% of whose production will be dedicated to export starting in 2025, as well as a company that will produce the first electric trucks in Morocco and Africa.

An Integrated Living Environment for Talent

Designed to attract and retain skilled professionals, Logintek adopts a holistic approach by integrating a complete living environment for employees and executives: a polyclinic, hotel, commercial center, mosque, business center, and green spaces.

The sustainable and CSR dimension is also central: the integration of photovoltaic installations, the use of renewable energy, high-efficiency electricity, and a wastewater treatment plant position Logintek as a model for responsible logistics zones.

Job Creator and Economic Engine

With a projected creation of 12,000 to 15,000 direct jobs by 2030, Logintek is a powerful lever for economic development in the region. The project, carried out in partnership with public authorities (AMDIE, CRI, ANAPEC), illustrates the success of a public-private partnership model capable of catalysing structural investments in North Africa.
