Benin – Ministry of Living Environment and Transport, in charge of Sustainable Development, announces:
The public is hereby informed that the construction project of the Greater Nokoué Agro-Food Platform in the commune of Abomey-Calavi includes several components, notably the construction of the agro-food market (wholesale market) and the development of a logistics platform.
In this context, a 60-hectare area has been allocated, of which 35 hectares are reserved for the logistics platform of the Port Autonome de Cotonou (PAC), and 25 hectares are reserved for professionals in the logistics and transport sector who wish to build their own warehouses and other agro-food storage facilities, under a construction lease agreement with the State.
Private promoters and investors (legal entities or individuals) wishing to develop warehouse and storage space projects are invited to express their interest by submitting a file including, at a minimum:

A letter of request for a construction lease, addressed to the President of the Land Allocation Commission (logistics platform), specifying the desired plot size;

A brief project presentation note, indicating the estimated total cost (all taxes included), the source of funding, and the approximate timeline for completion.
Selected promoters will be required to provide a mandatory deposit of 50,000 CFA francs per square meter before signing the construction lease agreement. This deposit will be fully refunded upon completion of the works within the agreed timeline and in accordance with the project specifications. The maximum construction period is 12 months. During the first five years of the lease, the annual rent is set at a symbolic franc.
