EDECS Group Expands DP World Partnership Through Strategic Dar es Salaam Port Modernization Project in Tanzania

EDECS Group, a leading MEA-region EPC contractor, has secured a strategic contract from DP World to redevelop seven operational yards at Tanzania’s Dar es Salaam Port terminal 1 operated by DP World Dar Es Salaam. With construction works already progressing on-site, the project reflects EDECS’ continued delivery momentum and expanding role in strategic marine and logistics infrastructure across the region.

Under the project scope, EDECS is delivering the design and construction of seven dedicated cargo and material handling yards with a combined area of 90,000 m², together with associated gates and supporting utilities.
