Sino-African Trade Volume Surpasses USD 300 Billion from January to November

(Xinhua) — Trade volume between China and Africa reached USD 314.413 billion during the first eleven months of this year, representing a 17.8% year-on-year increase, according to data recently released by China’s General Administration of Customs.

This figure already exceeds the total for 2024, which stood at USD 295.562 billion, marking the first time that Sino-African trade has surpassed the USD 300 billion threshold.

During this period, Chinese exports to Africa amounted to USD 201.715 billion, up 26.3% year on year, while Chinese imports from Africa reached USD 112.698 billion, recording a 5.2% annual increase.

Among China’s 64 African trading partners, bilateral trade grew by more than 10% with 41 countries and by over 30% with 22 countries. These figures highlight the resilience and strong momentum of China’s foreign trade.
