“AGL MOVING TOUR” caravan arrives in Burkina Faso to support youth in pursuing careers in transport and logistics

AGL Burkina Faso, a subsidiary of the Italian-Swiss group MSC, is launching its “AGL Moving Tour Burkina 2026” caravan at an official ceremony held in Ouagadougou under the chairmanship of the Minister of Sports, Youth and Employment, Mrs. Annick PIKBOUGOUM / ZINGUE OUATTARA.
The event was held in the presence of a delegation of Group executives led by Mohamed DIOP, Deputy CEO Africa.

After the success of the AGL Moving Tour in Morocco during the 2025 AFCON, the caravan arrives to meet young people in Burkina Faso.

Deployed from April 15 to May 10, 2026 in Ouagadougou and Bobo-Dioulasso, this caravan aims to bring the academic world closer to the professional world in a sector where skills needs are growing rapidly. For nearly a month, the itinerant caravan, led by AGL Burkina’s expert teams, will meet students in the country’s main universities: Aube-Nouvelle, African Institute of Management, Baba Coulibaly and Higher Institute of Technology. The objective is to present and exchange with young people on the many opportunities related to logistics and transport professions: digitalization, innovation, robotization, decarbonization, intra-African connectivity, corridor management.
Our teams will also offer practical workshops dedicated to professional integration (CV, interviews, public speaking).
In collaboration with the transport and logistics student clubs, the caravan is committed to raising awareness and coaching a thousand young people in the country. At the end of the caravan tour, internship opportunities will be offered to students within the AGL group.
