COTFIA 2026: Afreximbank Launches an Information Webinar to Train Africa’s Next Generation of Trade Finance Experts
As intra-African trade accelerates and the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) is progressively implemented, strengthening skills in trade finance is becoming a strategic lever for the continent’s economic development.
Against this backdrop, Afreximbank will host an information webinar on 4 February 2026, from 12:00 to 13:30 (EET), dedicated to its flagship training programme: the Certificate of Trade Finance in Africa (COTFIA 2026).
This online session aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the programme’s objectives, structure, and value proposition, designed to support capacity building among African professionals in finance, trade, logistics, and supply chain.

Developed by AFRACAD in partnership with Afreximbank and key ecosystem stakeholders, COTFIA targets professionals seeking to deepen their expertise in trade finance, factoring, access to finance, and AfCFTA-related trade mechanisms.
