Suez Canal: Increase in transit tolls for all types of vessels

The Suez Canal Authority’s Chairman and Managing Director, Admiral Ossama Rabie, announced last Saturday in a press release, an increase in transit tolls for all types of vessels transiting the Suez Canal during the next year 2023.

All types of ships transiting the Suez Canal, will see during the year 2023, their transit tolls increase by 15%, with the exception of dry bulk ships and cruise ships whose transit tolls will increase by 10%, provided that the implementation of the planned increase begins from January, early next year 2023.
